An easy drive from Broken Hill (Dry weather road), and highly recommended, the Mutawintji National Park and the Mutawintji Historic site is a 'must see' destination for anyone visiting Outback NSW.
The Mutawintji area is of great cultural significance with a vast array of Aboriginal galleries of rock art in the caves and overhangs.
For those wishing to also see White cliffs without back-tracking, there is the option (dry weather track) to take the Mutawintji-Opal Loop, and onto Wilcannia.
