Driving from perth across the Nullabor plain Getting to/from the Darling River Run from Perth and the West

For those who are on a driving holiday of Australia and are driving from Western Australia to the East coast of Australia may want to consider hooking up with The Darling River Run after driving across The Nullarbor Plain via the Eyre Highway. (Or visa versa if wanting to drive from The East coast of Australia to West Australia). Either way provides a wonderful adventure to maximise a visit Australia experience.

Perth to Wentworth
Great Eastern <> Eyre <>Barrier Highway

Distance: 2,933 km - about 1 day 11 hours (Est)

Driving The Eyre Highway is an adventrue in itself as it treverses the states of Western Australia and South Australia including Nullabor Plain.

After reaching and visiting Adelaide continue along the Sturt Highway through Waikerie and Renmark and onto Wentworth.

Perth to Wilcannia
Great Eastern <> Eyre <>Sturt Highway

Distance: 2,998 km - about 1 day 12 hours

After reaching Port Augusta in South Asutralia there is the Option to visit Adelaide or head across to Peterborough and take the Barrier Highway to Broken Hill and onto nearby towns of the Darling River including Menindee and Wilcannia.
